Kellie is Chief Financial Officer and one of the Partners of Owens Estate and Wealth Strategies Group. She serves as a Financial Advisor, holding Series 7 and 66 licenses, and is a voting member of Investment Committee. Kellie is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds her California Insurance license and Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ designation.
Prior to joining Owens Estate and Wealth Strategies Group, Kellie worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, a “big four” accounting firm in their San Francisco office. There she was staffed to the Industry Tax Practice and specialized in Federal corporate tax returns. Her clients ranged from small start-ups to multi-billion-dollar companies, and Kellie discovered her passion for helping clients and businesses attain and maintain success. Kellie joined Owens Estate and Wealth in 2018 and feels that “working within a small community focused on helping our neighbor without expectations is much more rewarding than working in a big city.”
Kellie was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, CA, where she attended California Polytechnic State University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2015, and immediately continued her education to obtain a Master’s in Accounting with a specialization in Taxation in 2016.
Passionate about home renovations, Kellie loves to tackle DIY projects with her husband. She also loves to spend time outdoors with family and friends adventuring throughout Northern California.
