Katie serves as our client service manager, handling all money movement and overseeing our client service team. Her sociable personality helps her build caring and trusting relationships with our clients and team.

She is highly efficient and organized, which is not only beneficial in serving our clients, but also in maintaining our office operations and procedures. Her attention to detail is crucial to our team’s overall productivity.

Katie joined Owens Estate & Wealth Strategies Group in 2016, after nearly 20 years of working with the Nevada City School District and Elk Grove Unified School District – an experience she says has made her a more compassionate and patient person. She graduated from Chico State University with a Bachelor of Arts in early child development. She is a notary public for the state of California.

Katie was born and raised in Grass Valley and lives here today with her husband, Aaron and her son Kolby. She enjoys spending time with her family and their little dogs Roxy & Oliver. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing softball, skiing, mountain biking, and paddle boarding on Scotts Flat Lake.
